As is clearly illustrated in the above bar chart, the numbers of people watching movies in China has experienced significant changes from the year 2009 to 2015. It can be clearly seen that the number of movie watchers was on a continuous rise from 200,000,000 to 12,600,000,000 in the seven years, up more than 6 times than before. 　　What might account for the notable growths? Reasons are many, but the most important one, as far as I am concerned, is that with the boom of Chinese economy in recent years, our government has been placing an increasingly high value on the the development of culture industry. What' s more, with the improvement of people’s living standard, they are willing to spend money on recreational events such as watching movies. In addition,the turning of people’s attitude toward life and the boom of Chinese movie market can give a perfect explanation for the phenomenon epitomized in the chart above. 　　With the enhancement of overall national strength, the increasing trend is bound to continue in the future. From my perspective, it is a positive trend and should be encouraged, for it is not only beneficial to improve our nation’s cultural soft power but also conducive to enriching spiritual and cultural life for common people in China.
